The process of booking e-tickets has been a cumbersome issue in the Maldives, typically done via back and forth phone calls with speedboat operators. Inspired by the Trainline app for booking train tickets in the UK, the founders of Dhathuru proposed a mobile app which could allow Maldivians to book speedboat tickets easily with a few taps on their phone.
