Fliq aims to challenge expensive traditional college counselling by providing tailored AI assisted suggestions for universities for potential applicants based on the factors they are looking for in an university. Fliq provides information about the university, the campus, scholarship opportunities, finance management and more so that the student can make an informed decision.

Fliq is primarily targeted for a user base in India, consisting of students in their late teenage years who have just finished high school and are looking to apply for universities.

Initially meant to be a mobile app, the team pivoted to building a web app instead for technical reasons. The goal was to design a friendly interface that resonated with the target age group of 16-19 years. Bold strokes and cream backgrounds, and humorous stickers were used to build a more playful interface that resonated with the younger target audience.
